Being the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries concern themselves with new beginnings. The feeling of needing to be ‘first’ will be strong and might even encourage the individual to ‘copy’ another (think: ‘if they have got it, then Aries wants it!). Aries people are often seen as children when it comes to personality. Enthusiastically celebrating new discoveries, ideas or concepts - even if they were not the first to come up with it! Because of their courageous and pioneering nature, Aries tends to jump into the unknown head first - meaning they might find themselves ill-prepared for the adventures they embark on. Nevertheless, their enthusiasm and fervour make Aries one of the most confident and youthful signs.
This card can symbolise a new venture of some sort where competition (of any kind) is prevalent. It also suggests finding something or someone to fight for, as this will channel a head-strong attitude towards a more productive and positive direction.

Fire signs have the need of creativity - the urge to do ‘something'. If this ‘something’ already exists, they have the need to decide where it’s going, coming from and what this ‘something’ means.
Much like fire itself, these signs are warm, light-hearted and energetic. Blessed with the gift of vision, Fire signs have endless inspiration and faith in their ideas. This positive outlook and energy makes the Fire signs excellent at uplifting others and growing their enthusiasm. Each of the Cardinal signs is born at the time a new season is beginning. Aries is born at the beginning of spring. Cancer is born at the beginning of summer. Libra is born at the beginning of fall. Capricorn is born at the beginning of winter. Because of this, the cardinal signs are associated with new beginnings, starting something new and change. These signs like to begin new projects, have new ideas, and switch things around in their daily lives. The way these four signs channel this energy can be quite different to each other: Aries is concerned with being a pioneer, and following their own path - whilst Libra is concerned with creating strong relationships with those around them. Capricorn’s motivations are in beginning/building their own careers and social status - whilst Cancer is focused on creating a secure and reliable home life. Not shy about getting their hands dirty, Cardinal signs are blessed with drive and opportunism that allow for them start any and all ideas they come up with. However, due to their dynamic nature, they do not like to be restricted at all - often meaning they leave projects half-baked or completely abandoned. This could also manifest in the Cardinals pushing their way into a leadership position, without actually having learned what they are supposed to be managing (think trying win a Formula race, without ever taking a driving lesson).
