Just wanted to make a quick blog post about this exciting opportunity and project I got to be a part of!

The Alleyway Tarot & Oracle decks are made up of different artists take on the traditional cards. Meaning that every single card in the decks is illustrated/made by a different artist. This concept was brought to life by the Publishing Goblin (you can find them on Kickstarter & other socials), and his first run at making the Alleyway Tarot won a record for MOST FUNDED tarot deck on a crowdfunding website ever! At 1.4 million dollars, and over 20,000 backers - you can probably tell how excited and honoured I was when they asked me to participate.

So... where does Cosmic Consequence come in? Well, when The Publishing Goblin reached out, they let me know that this Kickstarter would be creating an Add-on (an extra 'prize' you can literally add on to any of the main decks for a small fee) based on Astrology! This is a 13 card collection, where each card represents one of the zodiac signs (the 13th card would be the controversial and mysterious Ophiuchus). And.... I got told that they wanted to use my illustration for GEMINI! Of course I said yes. Also, Gemini was the first ever card I illustrated and designed for the Cosmic Consequence deck, which means I have a lil soft spot for that card.

Not only are these cards amazing in that they help a variety of artists get their work out there, but the campaign also offers each artists monetary compensation for their participation! What's also great is that the more the kickstarter is able to fund, the more the artists get paid as well. This should be reason enough to get involved, to support a variety of creatives, some new and some more seasoned.
