Northern hemisphere dominants have a strong attachment towards personal resources and their sense of identity. They have a need to feel secure in themselves before they venture out into the world. ABOUT THE HEMISPHERES
The hemispheres in astrology break the birth chart down into four sections. However, contrary to how we commonly see hemispheres, in astrology these are seen as ‘backwards’. This is because in a birth chart the hemispheres are viewed from the viewpoint of the ‘heavens’ (think North Pole). Therefore, North would equate to South and vice-versa; and West becomes East, East becomes West. The hemispheres speak on whether someone/a situation is of a more introverted/extroverted nature and whether the motivations are rooted in fulfilling an individual or others.
